The word of God shows us a more excellent way to live. He admonished us to rejoice always. Through the good and the bad situations.
Philippians 4:4 (AMP)
Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice!
Sometimes you find people who tend to worry a lot about life, people they care about, challenges; things that are both in and out of their control. And often they feel that worrying gives them a sense of responsibility. Truth is, your worry will only worsen it. Another will say; “how can I be happy when the things happening to me and the situations are not making me happy?”. Life is spiritual, and you need to learn to control life from your inside. Your happy spirit conditions you for a happy life.
Matthew 6:27 (NET)
And which of you by worrying can add even one hour to his life?
God has called us to a life of glory and beauty and if you’re wondering; “how do i stop worrying?”, God says rejoice always in Him. If He’s says so; then it means you have the ability to do so. It’s not because you feel like, but because His word comes with the ability to do so. He tells us to count our blessings and give thanks always. He’s given us joy in our Spirit which is not dependent on circumstance.
Psalms 105:1-5 (NLT)
1 Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim His greatness. Let the whole world know what He has done.
2 Sing to Him; yes, sing His praises. Tell everyone about His wonderful deeds.
3 Exult in His holy name; rejoice, you who worship the LORD.
4 Search for the LORD and for His strength; continually seek Him.
5 Remember the wonders He has performed, His miracles, and the rulings He has given,
Being joyful is a powerful weapon in our arsenal for overcoming challenges and obstacles. Many miracles and victories were wrought by God’s people in the Bible through shouts of joy and praise. God rejoices over us.
Zephaniah 3:17 (NLT)
For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With His love, He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
Never let circumstances weigh you down so much that you don’t give thanks and rejoice in the Lord. For THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH!
Rejoice always!
