God loves all men and does not wish that any man to perish.
2 Peter 3:9 (NASB)
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
One important thing to know is that our lives matter to God that is why He sacrificed Himself for our salvation that we may not perish. As Christians, we have a ministry to bring this salvation to others by sharing the word of God with them.
This is something God has already called us to do. That is why we are still on this earth, else we would have been whisked away to Heaven to be with the Lord. But we are the extension of God on this earth.
Mark 16:15 (MSG)
Then he said, “Go into the world. Go everywhere and announce the Message of God’s good news to one and all.
You find many Christians leaving this call and duty to other people or those that they deem to be evangelists and pastors or special men of God. Or for some, they don’t share the word of God with others because they feel they don’t know enough or look at the errors in their lives which makes them feel unclean or unrighteousness enough to share the word of God.
One beautiful thing about God is; He loves us irrespective of our errors and didn’t place a condition on this charge to preach the Gospel to others. He says go! He didn’t say go when you feel like you’re clean enough.
Another beautiful thing about the word of God is it’s ability to cleanse and change lives.
John 15:3 (KJV)
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
Don’t preach or share the word of God because you feel clean, do it because God says so. In His mind you are clean and the more engage with the word of God, the more you will see the transformation you want.
Someone may ask; “what if I don’t know what to say?” Share the little you know. Start from there. One word from God is enough. Study the word of God and share what you learn as you study. Listen to messages and share what you receive. Use every avenue of influence you have (social media, groups, one-on-one interactions) to touch someone’s life and share the word of God with them today.
God loves us and doesn’t want any man to perish.
