Yea (Yes) and Amen

Mar 25, 2022 | Life, Prayer

2 Corinthians 1:20 (KJV)
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

Learn to bask in the promises of God. Question is, do you believe the word of God and His promises?

The steps to seeing the manifestation of these promises and words of God include

1) Believing and accepting what God has said to you.

Romans 10:9 (ESV)
Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

2) Continue to dwell upon them (think on it and meditate upon them)

Deuteronomy 6:6-8 (MSG)
6 Write these commandments that I’ve given you today on your hearts. Get them inside of you
7 and then get them inside your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning to when you fall into bed at night.
8 Tie them on your hands and foreheads as a reminder;

Joshua 1:8 (MSG)
And don’t for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you’ll get where you’re going; then you’ll succeed.

Romans 11:29 (AMP)
For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.]

3) Confess and say what it says (not contrary)

Many times you find that when you observe things going on in the world you; and what others may be saying and discussing, you may be tempted to says contrary to what the word says. Don’t do so because you want to fit in. Stay on what God says. Your tongue carries power.

Proverbs 18:20-21 (MSG)
20 Words satisfy the mind as much as fruit does the stomach; good talk is as gratifying as a good harvest.
21 Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit–you choose.

Proverbs 15:4 (LIV)
A gentle tongue [with its healing power] is a tree of life, but willful contrariness in it breaks down the spirit.

Say Yes to the words of God to you and keep saying it, keep confessing it and they shall come to pass (Amen)

Remind yourself of the promises and words of God:

Isaiah 33:24 (MSG)
No one in Zion will say, “I’m sick. ” Best of all, they’ll all live guilt-free.

Romans 8:1(AMP)
THEREFORE, [there is] now no condemnation (no adjudging guilty of wrong) for those who are in Christ Jesus, who live [and] walk not after the dictates of the flesh, but after the dictates of the Spirit.

Proverbs 4:18 (KJV)
But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

Luke 1:30 (AMP)
…for you have found grace (free, spontaneous, absolute favor and loving-kindness) with God.

Psalms 1:3 (MSG)
You’re a tree replanted in Eden, bearing fresh fruit every month, Never dropping a leaf, always in blossom.

2 Corinthians 1:20 (ASV)
He carries out and fulfills all of God’s promises, no matter how many of them there are; and we have told everyone how faithful He is, giving glory to His name.
